About Me

Nice to meet you!

Hi, I’m Justine Yahnke (Yank-ee) (She/Her)

Balancing all that life brings is no easy task; no matter your stage of life, we often feel disconnected and unheard. My practice centers LGBTQIA+ folks and those looking for greater connection to themself and a way to live more authentically. Breaking old patterns, adding new skills, and seeing challenges from a new perspective can be transformative. I have worked with a wide range of client needs, including gender and sexuality exploration, communication skills, anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges.

I am a collaborative therapist, excited to support you in exploring areas of your life where you would like to increase your skills and self-compassion, living life according to your values—using behavioral therapy skills as well as a psychodynamic approach that is grounded in anti-oppression movements, queer and feminist theory.

Finding a therapist you connect with can be a tedious part of the therapeutic journey. I want to make that process as easy as possible. I offer 15-minute consultation calls. I look forward to speaking with you and learning a little more about what brings you here.
